A past president of the Kentucky Society of Plastic Surgeons (KSPS), Dr. Quintero is a member of several prestigious professional organizations, including the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the Kentucky Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He is a candidate for the American Board of Plastic Surgery.

Awards & Recognition

Dr. Quintero’s exceptional patient care and dedication are well-recognized by his patients and peers. He received the Top Plastic Surgeon Award in 2013, as well as the Most Compassionate Doctor award from 2011 to 2013. In addition, he was honored with the John W. Price Award for Excellence in Teaching Medical Students and the Owl Club Award for Best Surgical Teaching Resident.

Mission Work & Research

With a dedication to medicine that extends beyond his practice, Dr. Quintero has participated in mission trips to Ecuador and the Philippines. There he provided surgical care to repair cleft lips and palates for children. He also engages in research activities and has presented his findings at conferences and symposiums.
