Arriving at the moment of decision for your plastic surgery procedure can be one of life’s turning points. Our patients tell us their procedures have been life-changing experiences, bringing them higher self-esteem and an improved outlook on their lives. In each case, these were patients who understood the procedures they were about to have, along with the risks, the recovery, and what results were realistically possible. Their education about plastic surgery at our Lexington and Louisville facility helped them make informed, confident choices.
You Are the Key Decision-Maker
Dr. M. Bradley Calobrace, Dr. Chet Mays, and our medical team believe you should be the key decision-maker when it comes to having plastic surgery. When you visit us, you’ll discover that our approach to a successful result centers on you, with each of us providing our insight, knowledge, and skill in helping you make comfortable, informed choices about your treatment.
“Our emphasis is the highest level of patient safety, providing our patients with the information to make the right choices for their situation, surrounding our patients with experienced, well-trained nurses and offering advanced surgical skill,” says Dr. M. Bradley Calobrace. “Enthusiastic patients tell their friends about us, and physicians around the country refer patients to us, especially in complex situations.”
“Plastic surgery is a combination of art and science uniquely blended into the field medicine. Yes, we are physicians, but as plastic surgeons, we use our surgical skills to improve patients’ quality of life. Our state-of-the-art plastic surgery center is operated by staff who works together as a team providing the highest quality of care. As a team we strive to bring the greatest technology and procedures from all over the world to the Louisville and Lexington, KY regions,” says Dr. Chet Mays.

If CaloSpa and CaloAesthetics does not receive prompt payment, we reserve the right to transfer your balance to outside collections after being 90 days past due. If an account is referred to outside collections, we reserve the right to dismiss the patient and the immediate family of the patient from the practice. During that 30-day period, our physician will only be able to treat you on an emergency basis.
The account is subject to additional fees incurred by the practice and/or related to the collection activity. In the event that a treatment, or series of treatments has been purchased, begun treatment or not, these services will be considered to have been rendered even though the full series may not have been completed. Should you wish to discontinue your treatment amid a series, credit for the prorated share of unused treatments may be extended as a credit on the patient’s account in the amount it was originally paid for. In the event you are unable to use a product (e.g., experience an adverse reaction and/or sensitivity) please notify us immediately and return the item within 14 days of purchase. Unused/unopened products can be returned within 30 days for a refund. This is at the discretion of the organization as CaloSpa and CaloAesthetics has a no refund policy.
Missed appointments represent a cost to us, to you and to other clients who could have been seen in the time set aside for you. We require a 24-hour notice for canceling or rescheduling of any appointment. There is a charge of $50.00 for missed or late cancelled appointments. Excessive abuse of scheduled appointments may result in discharge from the practice.
If arrival is delayed, we will make every effort to accommodate your full appointment, but this is not always possible. Service time may be abbreviated to avoid delays for other guests as treatments are charged at full value. Appointments missed by 15 minutes or more are cancelled and are subject to the cancellation fee of $50.00.
CaloSpa packages offer our patients significant savings. Service purchases as a package are NOT transferable. If you are unable to use your full package within 2 years, your package will be dissolved, and any remaining credit will be put on a CaloSpa gift card. Refunds will not be provided.
For parties of 3 or more, please contact the Spa Lead (at the location of service), for group pricing and availability. A completed contract and deposit are required to secure your appointment and arranged pricing. A 20% gratuity will be added to all spa parties. Gift cards expire 5 years from the date of purchase and CaloSpa is not responsible for lost gift cards. Gift cards are not valid for plastic surgery.
Please arrive 10-20 minutes prior to your scheduled service. This allows you time to check in, change into a luxurious robe, and feel relaxed for your treatment.
Please allow our team the opportunity to provide the best service possible by refraining from phone calls during your service. This consideration is appreciated by fellow patients as well. Please mute all cell phones before entering the practice.
We do provide lockers, although we ask that you please do not bring valuables into the spa. Jewelry should not be worn during most spa treatments. CaloSpa and CaloAesthetics are not responsible for any lost or stolen belongings.
Please expect to remove clothing for any massage or non-surgical body contouring treatments, but undergarments can be worn if you like. Draping assures your privacy. Please let the provider know if you feel any discomfort at any time.
