Nose reshaping surgery, also called rhinoplasty, helps our patients from Lexington and Louisville, KY, and Floyds Knobs, IN, improve the appearance and function of the nose. Our plastic surgeons understand the importance of the nose to overall facial balance. Our plastic surgeons perform nose reshaping for women and men of all ages and adolescents whose facial growth is complete. They reshapes the nose in a variety of ways, which may include one or a combination of the following:
Patients may choose to combine their nose surgery with other facial cosmetic procedures such as a lip lift to address multiple concerns in a single surgery.
Women and men who want to avoid anesthesia and downtime may choose a liquid rhinoplasty (nose job). This nonsurgical procedure, complete in about 20 minutes, is performed in our office while the patient is awake. A dermal filler like JUVÉDERM VOLUMA® is carefully injected into the bridge, tip, or other areas of concern to provide subtle but noticeable enhancement. The injector can make precise adjustments during the procedure as the patient can hold up a mirror to evaluate the nose’s shape. As with other filler treatments, results are immediate and last about 6 to 12 months depending on the filler used and individual factors. Patients can return as needed, usually every 6 to 12 months, for touch–up treatments to maintain their results.

The surgery usually takes 2 to 3 hours to complete and can be performed with local and IV sedation or general anesthesia. The extent of surgery will vary depending on the procedures being performed and whether the nose bones will need to be fractured.
The cost for rhinoplasty depends on several factors, including the complexity of the procedure. Typically, rhinoplasty costs range from $10,000 to $13,000. Your surgeon will provide an accurate estimate during your consultation. We offer several financing options for our patients to set up affordable monthly payments.

Learn MorePatient healing rates vary after rhinoplasty; however, most experience some degree of temporary swelling, bruising, stuffiness, and headaches.
Patients may return to work or school in 7 to 10 days but should limit more strenuous activity for 2 to 4 weeks.
It’s important to avoid sunburn or impact to the nose for at least 2 months after rhinoplasty. The final nose appearance may not be achieved for up to a year. The results are long lasting.
While most people have a comfortable and successful recovery, rare complications such as infection, bleeding, and incomplete improvement may require follow-up care or additional surgery.
