Male breast reduction surgery lasts from 1 to 2 hours and is usually performed as an outpatient procedure while the patient is under twilight anesthesia. The plastic surgeon removes fat, glandular tissue, and/or excess skin from the breast to produce a flatter, more masculine appearance.
